Description from the seller
KPM Berlin - Elegant "Kurland" White Porcelain Coffee Service - 1st Quality
An absolute icon of European porcelain art: A glossy white porcelain coffee service from the world-renowned Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin (KPM).
Designed around 1790 by Friedrich Elias Meyer for Peter von Biron, the Duke of Courland (Kurland), this legendary pattern represents one of the most significant and celebrated masterpieces of early Neoclassicism. Strict symmetry and ancient architectural ideals, highlighted by a finely crafted relief rim featuring delicate pearl banding (Perlstab).
Please note that the delivery time for the furniture is 2-5 weeks. The shipping costs are specified as flat rates, and we still need to inquire about the shipping costs for each city or location after we received your order. We will inform you after the purchase whether we will refund overpaid shipping costs or if the shipment to your location requires additional shipping costs.
Seller's Story
Re-store, Re-Use, Re-Love <3
Fast Food, Fast Fashion & Fast Furniture are not our world. We cherish furnishings with history – made with a lot of care and from a time when good design and quality were more important than quantities, price and pack size for transport around half the globe.
We sell furnishings that we personally select and carefully restore. One by one. Some retain their original look, others are redesigned or upcycled and given a modern appearance with an emphasis on proportions, colors and details. We do offer some new items. These are produced in a fair environment with recycled or local materials.
For us, the idea of a more sustainable world is the guiding principle – in all we do.
We love to extend furniture lifetimes to contribute to a circular economy in the European furnishing industry. With us, you have all under one roof: Design lovers and sustainability enthusiasts. Win-win ;)!
