Superb antique enamelled cast iron casserole Le Creuset, model "La Coquelle", designed by the famous designer Raymond Loewy. An iconic piece of French design from the 1950s, here offered in a magnificent and unusually rare blue-violet color, particularly decorative.

This casserole is distinguished by its silhouette with clean lines, its domed lid and its black Bakelite handles, screwed directly onto the tub, features of the early models of the series. It bears the number 4.5, corresponding to a capacity of 4.5 litres.
