AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Important decorative parure made from numerous natural shells fixed on a braided textile structure in an ecru color.

The shells present a beautiful palette of cream, peach, salmon and orange tones. Their elongated shape, their wide pinkish opening and their siphonal canal are characteristic of Fasciolariidae. This is very likely Pleuroploca trapezium, previously classified under the name Fasciolaria trapezium.

The shells are arranged regularly all around the structure, creating a very graphic and voluminous effect. The piece is mounted on a black metal stand that particularly enhances it.

A spectacular decorative object, ideal in a bohemian, naturalist, ethnically inspired interior or cabinet of curiosities.
