AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Bang & Olufsen Beocord 1100 – cassette recorder designed by Jacob Jensen, Denmark, 1970s.
Original Bang & Olufsen Beocord 1100 cassette recorder, designed by Jacob Jensen and produced in Denmark in the second half of the 1970s.
Characteristic example of B&O design from that period – a very low, horizontal silhouette, black anodized elements and a contrasting wooden finish on the top of the housing. The cassette mechanism and level indicators were almost entirely integrated into the flat surface of the unit.
Beocord 1100 is equipped with Dolby B noise reduction system, capability to use CrO₂ chrome tapes, two independent level indicators for the left and right channels, and electronic Auto Stop.
The unit has been checked for basic playback – it plays the cassette and correctly transmits music. Other functions, including recording and full operation of all inputs, outputs and controls, were not tested and are not covered by the warranty of operability.
Condition: good, vintage, with natural signs of age and use. Scratches, scuffs and minor signs of use are visible on the black housing elements and cover. The wooden finish is preserved in an attractive condition. Exact condition shown in the photos.
