Description from the seller
A very beautiful Ruvinal Model A medium format camera 6x6 & 4.5x6 cm (dual format) with a Ruvinal Anastigmat f3.5/80mm lens is offered.
First, I looked up information about this model in McKeown's camera bible, which describes more than 25,000 cameras and contains more than 6,000 photos. There is absolutely nothing about Model A in McKeown's book.
Only on Camera-wiki.org did I obtain the following information:
Cameras with serial numbers below 4000 were produced by the Japanese company Shoei MFG.Co
Made with an NKS shutter with speeds from 1 to 1/200 sec + B, with a Ruvinal Anastigmat f3.5/80mm lens, these are typical for the Model A.
The camera comes from my personal collection and has always been cared for with the necessary regard.
The camera is very beautiful and works perfectly at all speeds.
No scratches and no cleaning marks on the glass. No mold or haze (condensation) inside.
Aperture works perfectly from f3.5 to f22
The shutter works at all speeds perfectly from 1 sec to 1/200 sec and B.
The bellows are light-tight without cracks or pinholes.
Opening and closing the camera works very smoothly.
Focusing of the lens also still works excellently.
Also the viewfinder is in very clear condition.
The camera uses 120 roll film, which is still sold in good photography stores.
The user can choose whether to take 16 exposures of 4.5x6 cm or 12 exposures of 6x6 cm when using 120 roll film.
The user can make this choice by using or not using the insert mask (when opening the film door). Do not lose this little window because it is no longer available separately for purchase.
A number of accessories are included with the camera, such as:
1) a metal screw-on lens hood.
2) a cable release.
3) a flash lamp
4) a flash lamp holder for disposable small flash lamps.
5) a reflective mirror for flash bulbs.
6) a Mini Rex II light meter (which gives no response) but perhaps can be restored ???
7) a light brown leather camera case.
The camera works with 120 format roll film.
This fun collectible camera with accessories should certainly not be missing from your display case or camera collection.
The camera with case and accessories will be carefully and securely packed and shipped with Track & Trace number and insurance.
NOTE:
I always ship my goods with Track & Trace number and insurance to guard against damage and theft.
This shipping cost is more expensive but safer and is required by Catawiki to use.
I use Catawiki's "Smart Shipping" tool. Catawiki introduced this a few years ago to obtain better shipping rates from various carriers and mail-order companies.
Everything is done automatically and I only receive a digital shipping label to print and attach to the package.
I also use a one-time handling fee of €10 that is included in the shipping cost.
What is included: the time I spend packing, the packing box, the time needed to go to and from the post office, and a contribution to fuel since my car does not run on water.
If you cannot agree with this, please do not place bids.
Thank you in advance.
