AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
[Excellent] Nikon AF Nikkor 75-300mm f/4.5-5.6
▼ Description
This is a telephoto zoom lens for Nikon F-mount.
Released in 1989, Nikon AF Nikkor 75-300mm f/4.5-5.6 (Serial: 371223)
▼ Usage Notes (Important Compatibility Information)
No Built-in AF Motor:
This lens does not have a built-in autofocus motor. Autofocus will only function on Nikon camera bodies equipped with an in-body focus motor (e.g., D7000 series, D600, D700, D800, D3, etc.). AF will NOT work on entry-level models without a motor (such as the D3000 or D5000 series). Please check the compatibility with your own camera before placing your bid.
Aperture Ring Setting:
When using this lens on modern Nikon digital SLR cameras, you must set and lock the aperture ring to the minimum aperture (f/22). Otherwise, the camera will display an error and will not release the shutter.
▼ Condition
Grade: Excellent
Appearance:
Beautiful condition. The black lens barrel is glossy with no noticeable scratches, scuffs, or dents.
The hard rubber parts on the push-pull zoom and focus rings show no signs of deterioration and remain very clean.
As perceptions of condition can vary, please check the attached photos carefully.
Optics:
Very Good.
There is no severe fungus or haze that would affect your shooting. The lens maintains high transparency.
There is some normal age-related dust inside. However, I have taken test shots and confirmed that this has absolutely no effect on the final image quality.
Functional:
Auto Focus (AF): Tested and operates properly.
Push-Pull Zoom: Operates smoothly.
Focus Ring: Operates smoothly.
Aperture Ring: Operates smoothly.
Aperture Blades: Operate properly with no oil on the blades.
