Description from the seller

I propose an elegant and scenographic Fleuron table ensemble, belonging to the French production of the 20th century and traceable to the prestigious Christofle tradition.

The lot consists of a large pierced oval element, featuring a refined decoration with radial motifs, a wide smooth central medallion, and an elegant beaded edge. The pierced workmanship gives the piece a distinctive lightness and elegance.

Completing the composition is a raised stand, also finely worked and equipped with small spherical feet, as well as two matching cups.

The ensemble represents a refined example of French tableware art from the second half of the twentieth century, designed to embellish an important table and also ideal as a decorative collectible element.

Cenni storici

The Fleuron mark was created by Christofle in 1960, following the acquisition of the Gombault house through Alfénide. Fleuron production remained active until 1987 and was mainly devoted to large silver-plated metalware.
