For sale a refined and prestigious service consisting of 6 vintage wine glasses (Hock glasses) made from fine 24% PbO lead crystal from the historic German manufacturer Lausitzer Glas (Lusazia, East Germany).
The glasses belong to the iconic series with the 'Traube' (Grapes) motif.
They feature a splendid deep cobalt-blue bowl, finely hand-worked with the traditional cut-to-clear craft technique (color grinding to reveal the underlying clear crystal).
The decoration combines detailed grape clusters and grape leaves, interspersed with elegant geometric sections with star-cut facets that create exceptional play of light.
The splendid six-faced stem is adorned with a faceted diamond-shaped knop, and ends in a circular base with radiating cut at the bottom.
