Elegant white porcelain sculpture from Limoges depicting a Berber woman seated, wearing a voluminous drape and a turban, holding a container in her right hand.

The sculpture is signed in the material with the name "L Savine" for Léopold Savine (1861-1934), a French sculptor notably known for his Orientalist figures.

Under the base lies the hallmark "Limoges Théodore Haviland - France" attesting to an early 20th-century Limoges production.

An old restoration since we can see glue on the crack.

Otherwise the statue is in good condition.

Une ancienne restauration car nous pouvons voir de la colle sur la fissure.
