AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Rare and sought-after complete set of three original Leica ELPRO achromatic macro add-on lenses (ELPRO 1, ELPRO 2 and ELPRO 3), complete with their original Leica transparent rigid cases.
These ultra-precision optics are made of premium anti-reflective achromatic doublets: they enable transforming standard and mid-tele Leica lenses into high-performance macro optics, drastically reducing the minimum focusing distance without introducing distortions or chromatic aberrations at the edges.
Set details and features:
Leica ELPRO 1 (Code 16541):
Diopter power: +2.51 diopters
Function: medium-close magnification; ideal for subjects at a mid-close distance.
Leica ELPRO 2 (Code 16542):
Diopter power: +4.92 diopters
Function: higher magnification ratio (up to about 1:2 / 1:1.75 depending on focal length). Also can be used in pair for extreme macro.
Leica ELPRO 3 (Code 16543):
Diopter power: +1.66 diopters
Function: optimized correction for mid-telephoto lenses (90mm, 100mm, 135mm), ideal for portraits at close distance and natural detail without vignetting.
