The figurine is entirely handmade and painted in Italy. It is made of refined biscuit porcelain and is rich in detail: from the expressive features of the girl to the fine floral details on her dress and the rocking beam.
This object is largely in excellent condition and comes with the original authenticity certificate ("Certificato di Origine"). A hand and a little arm and two fingers have been restored, as has a horse’s ear. The artist’s signature and the year (1974) are engraved on the green base of the rocking horse.
