Rare American Mercantile Triner 1906 desk scale made of pressed metal. Dated to the early 1910s, used by Mercantile Mail & Express agents and post offices to weigh letters and small packages.

IN GOOD CONDITION with the weighing still accurate

- Black finish with normal signs of aging decorated with a nationalist eagle decal on both sides.
Complete with metal tray and glass insert.

- These antique scales were common in post offices and country stores in the early 20th century. Stamped on the back PAT May 1, 1906, USA & Abroad (foreign) with an indication of a regulating screw inside (Regulating Screw Inside) - Panel with weight/price scale showing normal traces of old moisture that do not impair readability

Contrassegnata sul retro PAT 1 maggio 1906, USA & Abroad (estero) con indicazione vite di regolazione all'interno (Regulating Screw Inside) - Pannelo con scala peso/prezzario con NORMALI tracce di vecchia umidità che non pregiudicano la lettura
