Fish Sculpture in Solid Murano Glass with Silver Leaf – Original Vetri Murano Label (Code 038)

Raffinated and elegant sculpture of art depicting a stylized fish, handmade by Murano master glassmakers in the 1980s/1990s.
The work is formed in solid glass with substantial weight for its size, which also makes it perfect as a precious desk paperweight.
The spherical body is enriched inside by a submerged silver leaf work that creates luminous, iridescent reflections, while the tail, fins, and muzzle details are applied hot in vivid ruby red glass.
At the base, the original warranty label of the Vetri Murano consortium with code 038 is preserved (associated with the historic glassworks furnace of Alessandro Mandruzzato), an absolute guarantee of Murano origin and authenticity.
