Würbel & Czokally – Viennese Art Nouveau 900 Silver Coffee Solitaire – Vienna, c. 1900 – 819 g
An elegant three-piece Viennese silver coffee solitaire made by the renowned firm Würbel & Czokally, Vienna, circa 1900.
The set comprises a coffee pot, covered sugar bowl and milk jug. Each piece is executed in 900-grade silver, with elegant rounded bodies raised on circular feet. The coffee pot and milk jug feature dark ebony handles, while the vessels retain the restrained, refined aesthetic characteristic of Viennese silver around 1900.
The pieces bear the W&C maker's mark and Viennese Diana's head assay mark, used during the 1872–1922 period.
Total silver weight: 819 g.
Coffee pot: H 10.5 × W 12.5 × D 7.5 cm.
Sugar bowl: H 7 × W 15.5 × D 11.5 cm.
Condition: very good antique condition.
