Colosseo fits into a highly successful product category: service accessories. Furniture elements that change function depending on the occasion and need, transitioning, in Colosseo’s case, from a coffee table to a pouf. In designing this new object, Fukasawa arrived at the desired form by envisioning a solid in the shape of an inverted conical trunk lightened by arc-shaped grooves that draw its surface, thus echoing the structure of the famous Roman arena, from which it takes its name.
Made of rigid polyurethane finished in numerous glossy colors, Colosseo is available in two sizes.
