Description:

Imposing and elegant storage piece in Louis XV style, in solid oak with veneer, opening in the front by six doors and six drawers. This well-made piece stands out for the quality of its sculptures and the delicacy of its ornamentation.

Structure and composition:

Central part:
Glass-front module with two doors enclosing an exhibition space with removable glass shelves and a back lined with blue suede/velour.

Side parts:
Two large solid modules each closing with two doors carved with rocaille motifs, shells and arabesques.

Lower part:
Row of 6 drawers with original bronze/brass patinated handles.

Feet:
Resting on a contoured, molded plinth shaped by a large central shell and finished with cabriole feet with curling/griffin feet.

Details and hardware:
Lock cases, handles and escutcheons in original chiselled bronze.
Crafted key provided.
Upper cornice sculpted with beaded/twisted motifs.
