Original case in solid dark wood, finely carved with volutes and botanical motifs, Napoleon III style. Brass bezel, original dial with French inscriptions: Gde PLUIE, Pluie ou Vt, VARIABLE, Beau Temps, B. FIXE, TRES-SEC, TEMPÊTE, BAROMÈTRE HOLOSTERIQUE.
