Torck, Tubax - Children's furniture - Wood - Two chairs

Beautifully preserved, classic-looking children's armchairs. They are both authentic.
The lighter one is from the French brand Torck, which is also indicated on the chair; the darker one, after inspection, points to the Belgian brand Tubax.
Chairs with a sculptural approach to everyday furniture from that era. Where strong geometry, honest materials, and refined craftsmanship come together in a distinct modern aesthetic.
Softly curved armrests (bentwood), iconic designs.
Where Torck made the switch to fully wooden lines, Tubax produced similarly laminated toddler chairs with organic, loop-shaped side panels and armrests and distinctive details such as the round bulbs at the rear/bottom and the flat seat.
Both chairs weigh 4 kg.
The Torck chair is 63 cm high, 41 cm wide, 46 cm deep
The Tubax chair is 57 cm high, 41.5 cm wide, and 52 cm deep.
They are both in good condition; the Torck chair is 100% stable. The dark chair is also stable. But where a child could jump on the Torck chair, one could also sit on the Tubax chair, but it should be handled a bit gently. It is more fragile. But otherwise fine, no restorations needed.
Very lovely little set, brother and sister.
Carefully packed, registered, and sent with TT code. They will be shipped packed to exceed 10 kg.
