- Inscriptions: Obverse: E·PLURIBUS·UNUM·1896. Reverse: UNITED STATES OF AMERICA·ONE DOLLAR·IN GOD WE TRUST.
- Grade: MS64 (GBCA).
The coin of the “Morgan Dollar” type was minted at the Philadelphia mint. On the obverse is the bust of the personification of Liberty, designed by George T. Morgan. On the reverse is the eagle perched, holding an olive branch and a bundle of arrows. It is one of the most emblematic coins of 19th-century American numismatics.
