Dual - CS 505-3 Semi-Automatic Belt-Drive Stereo Turntable

Unlike its predecessors, it has a sturdier and heavier wooden plinth (cabinet), which improves the sound quality.

Sound: It delivers a very lively, warm, and balanced analog sound. Magazines from the era and users in forums (such as Reddit) praise it for its excellent detail reproduction. Subchassis: The motor and platter are mounted internally and decoupled from the outer housing. This makes the turntable vibration-resistant (e.g., when someone nearby walks on the floor). Characteristic ULM tonearm: The ultralight tonearm (Ultra Low Mass) scans the record precisely. The 505-3 version features a standard 1/2" thread, enabling easy tonearm/cartridge changes. Comfortable semi-automatic: After playing a record, the turntable automatically lifts the tonearm and switches off the motor (no fiddling needed to protect the needle from wear).
