Groupe antilopes is a circa 1930 Art Déco faience sculpture by Charles Lemanceau, Saint-Clément, France, measuring 44 cm wide, 30 cm high and about 10 cm deep, weighing 3.2 kg, with a beige glaze and craquelé, signed Lemanceau and bearing the Saint-Clément Made in France stamp.

Description
Superb Art Deco sculpture representing two stylized running antelopes, a classic reprise by the sculptor and ceramist Charles Lemanceau, one of the most sought-after artists of the 1925–1940 period.
The work is made in white/cream glazed earthenware with the characteristic Saint-Clément crackle glaze.
The piece bears:
• the molded signature “Lemanceau” on the base,
• the blue stamp “Clément / Made in France”,
• as well as a model number.
Elegance, dynamic lines, powerful volumes: a very fine example of French Art Deco ceramics.

• Depth: approx. 10 cm
Condition
Good overall condition for a piece approaching a century old.
Present:
• small signs of wear,
• micro-chips of glaze,
• the original crackle visible across the entire surface (typical Saint-Clément).
