Description from the seller
Val Saint Lambert - Art Deco centerpiece bowl / dish 'Noémie' - Olive green glass - Luxval 1935
Beautiful Art Deco decorative bowl, model 'Noémie' (also known as Coupe n° 12), designed in 1935 by Charles Graffart and René Delvenne for the famous 'Luxval' series of Val Saint Lambert (Belgium).
This piece is rendered in a deep, evocative green color. The clean, geometric handles and the stylized ribs are a textbook example of high-quality Art Deco design from the interwar period.
Marked on the bottom inside with the pressed factory mark "VAL ST LAMBERT BELGIQUE".
Condition: excellent vintage condition. Clear glass, completely free of chips, cracks or repairs. As is typical with pressed glass from this period, there are some tiny cooling lines and minuscule air bubbles from the manufacturing process, which underscore its authenticity.
A stunning and authentic centerpiece for enthusiasts of vintage design and rare Belgian glassware.
The item is professionally and very safely packed to guarantee safe arrival. The bowl will be shipped fully insured to the winning bidder, including a track-and-trace code to follow the package.
