Description from the seller

The first image is AI-enhanced to better showcase the design against a neutral background. Please rely only on the following original photos for the item’s true condition.

Rare mid-20th-century serviceware produced by the Laveno manufactory, Richard Ginori group.

Elegant serviceware for 10 people, made in ivory-colored porcelain. The shape features a refined, shaped and slightly wavy edge, giving the set a classic and sophisticated look.
The decoration consists of delicate polychrome flower bouquets, in shades of pink, lilac and green, harmoniously distributed on the rims of the plates and echoed on the soup tureen and its lid. At the center of the floral arrangement stand small white and pink flowers accompanied by green leaves and slender vegetative elements.

To complete the ornamentation there are gilded profiles and details, visible especially on the rims and on the elegant handles of the soup tureen. The latter has a bulbous form, with a shaped lid and a decorated upper handle.

The service, thanks to the refinement of the floral pattern, the ivory tone of the porcelain and the gilded touches, recalls the taste of traditional, elegant tableware from the first half of the 20th century.

The set is complete for 10 people and consists of:
10 flat plates
10 deep plates
10 appetizer plates
1 soup tureen
1 round tray

Excellent condition, objects of great quality.

Seller's Story

My name is Riccardo. I recently graduated in Art History from the University of Florence and I am passionate about porcelain. From tableware to artistic vases, from figurines to tea and coffee sets, I am fascinated by the mastery and creativity of great artisans and designers who manage to shape this fragile material, transforming a rough mass into masterpieces with a story to tell. During my years at university I began to become interested in the history of nineteenth- and twentieth-century tableware; today, every day, I deal with prestigious porcelain pieces that always have something to say to me and to those who purchase them. I love that every day I can discover more about the objects I find while traveling around Italy, always learning something new. I always try to convey to my clients this passion I have for the objects I sell, certain that each of them has a story to tell: that of the creator, that of the one who preserved it, and that of the person who will give it a new life.
