ANTIQUE WOODEN CONSOLE TABLE WITH FLORAL INLAY – BAROQUE / ROCOCO STYLE
Elegant antique wooden console table, characterized by a refined architectural structure and richly decorated front with floral inlay.
The piece features a rectangular top with a shaped profile and decorative mouldings. The front is enhanced by refined floral and foliage inlays, executed in lighter tones and arranged symmetrically within geometric panels. The centre features a more elaborate ornamental motif, while the two drawers are fitted with metal handles.
The lower section is particularly decorative, with a shaped apron featuring carved scrolls and Rocaille-inspired ornamentation. The console stands on four beautifully turned and shaped legs, connected by an elegant lower stretcher with a central decorative motif.
The warm walnut-brown finish highlights the natural grain of the wood and gives the piece an attractive aged appearance.
