AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Very pretty collectible piece

The Longwy faience factory was founded in 1798 by Boch and Nothomb in Lorraine. It is one of the few French faience manufacturers from the 19th century still operating today.

Magnificent 1930s plate with cloisonné enamels in a floral motif, treated in slip (barbotine) to give a slight relief, offering an elegant design on a deep blue background enhanced by very colorful flowers and birds, and accented by a fine rim, giving a chic appearance.

Stamped Emaux de Longwy and numbered, fairly rare. This piece is hand-decorated, a fine example of French craftsmanship.

Diameter: about 22.5 cm.

In very good condition for its age, no chips, cracks, or restorations, only tiny enamel losses almost normal for its age… see photos.

Thank you for looking at the photos and dimensions, which are part of the description. Please note that the items are enlarged in the photos to observe every detail. The colors may be somewhat different depending on the lighting.

I would also like to point out that the items are perfectly packed and shipped as soon as payment is received. Regarding delivery problems or delays, I am by no means responsible, unfortunately. Some buyers forget too often that the couriers are not the sellers.

Thank you for your understanding.
