Italian horizontal sundial – ca. 1970–1980
Decorative and highly detailed Italian horizontal sundial, crafted in wood and brass, after a historical Renaissance model.
The dial features several historical time scales, including Ore Babiloniche, Ore Italiane Civili and Ore e mez’ore Astronomiche. Also equipped with a fine compass rose and extensive astronomical and calendar lines.
The instrument is in good vintage condition, with normal aging and wear marks as seen in the photos
