Beautiful bronze wall incense burner in the shape of a dragon head (Pressed), originating from the Tibetan-Nepalese or Bhutanese region. From the 1950s-1960s or older.
Traditional sculpture depicts the mythical Asian dragon and is designed to be mounted on the wall. The gaping mouth serves functionally as the opening through which the smoke from the burning incense can subtly escape.
Features of the shown object: Material: Made from cast bronze or brass with striking red eyes.
Details: Equipped with a striking inlaid red eyes, one smaller than the other. (often coral or glass) and a decorative, flame-like aureole around the back of the head.
Mounting: The holes on the top and bottom of the back plate are intended to firmly screw or nail the mask to a wall.
Dimensions: 17.5 cm high, and 17 cm wide. Weighs about 1300 grams.
Condition: in good condition with minimal signs of use.
