Refined set of 9 French porcelain M&S plates, bearing on the back the gold seal “M&S – Fabriqué en Berry avec pâte de Limoges.”
Dating likely from the mid-20th century, around 1940–1960, this service appeals with its elegant polygonal form with beveled sides, late Art Deco inspiration, and the great sobriety of its decor.

The porcelain, with a beautiful luminous whiteness, is delicately dotted with small gilded leafy sprigs.
A fine gold rim outlines the circumference of each plate as well as the inner edge.
