Description from the seller

Elegant pair of table or vanity containers, designed by Lino Sabattini and distinguished by the renowned production “Sabattini Italy”.

The two objects feature a refined structure in silvered metal, characterized by essential and sinuous lines, which encloses an internal element in translucent opal glass, molded in a shell-like shape with a wavy edge and concentric reliefs. The contrast between the shine of the metal and the milky surface of the glass creates a result of great elegance, typical of Italian design of the postwar period.

The sculptural and highly decorative form, while maintaining strict functionality, perfectly reflects the search of Lino Sabattini, an Italian designer known for reinterpreting everyday objects through a combination of material preciousness, geometry, and formal refinement.

The marking “Sabattini Italy” identifies the production.
