• Sample No. 34 of only 1,898 units produced in the prestigious and sought-after configuration "First Series Peraluman"
• Matching Numbers condition complete and certified with original sequential discrepancy between engine block/chassis
• Only 2 owners from new and kept in the same indoor private garage for 43 years (from 1973 to 2016)
• Registered with FIVA/ASI and equipped with black plates, vintage-style pages in the registration booklet, and original user and maintenance manual
• Peraluman aluminum alloy movable panels with the distinctive side-opening hood in a “book” style
STORY/PANORAMA:
The Lancia Fulvia Sport 1.3 S, designed by Ercole Spada for Zagato and presented in the late 1960s, represents one of the most fascinating and elegant expressions of Italian automotive design. Characterized by its aerodynamic and unconventional lines, the First Series (Type 818.362) stands out for the use of the precious lightweight alloy Peraluman (aluminum) for the movable parts, a refined construction solution aimed at dramatically reducing weight.
This specific 1969 example, bearing chassis 818.362 001034, turns out to be the 34th produced in this particular configuration (out of 1,898 units built between 1968 and 1970). The car boasts a clean history with only 2 previous owners and a stay of a remarkable 43 years (from 1973 to 2016) in the same private garage, an element that helped preserve its originality. It records 88,429 km on the odometer and is accompanied by FIVA and ASI registration.
BODYWORK/PAINT:
The metallic silver bodywork is in good overall condition with the normal and physiological signs of aging. The movable panels (hood and doors) are made of Peraluman lightweight aluminum alloy and verified by a magnetic test. The front hood features the rare and distinctive side-opening hinge, mounted on the left-to-right direction, a specific exclusive to this first production batch. The shell is structurally sound and free of penetrating rust. The exterior setup includes chrome bullet-style mirrors mounted on the fenders, quick hood latches, and period BWA 6J x 13" alloy wheels with 175/70 R13 tires and Lancia trim.
INTERIORS:
The cabin remains in excellent general condition, entirely original and magnificently preserved. It features the correct vintage wooden dashboard, original San Giorgio/Veglia Borletti analog instrumentation, and a tri-spoke sporty steering wheel. The upholstery and trims retain a pleasant overall historic patina. Among the era accessories is the original perfectly functioning radio.
MECHANICS:
The mechanicals are in perfect original condition (Matching Numbers). The 1.3-liter V4 engine (type 818.303 high-compression with 93 HP) bears serial stamp 001181, perfectly sequential and in line with the factory chassis. The head features the correct vintage Lancia alloy (code 818.140) and the fuel supply comes from the original Solex twin carburetors. The 4-speed manual transmission retains the original long-throw lever configuration. On 29/09/2026 (at 88,414 km) a tuning service was carried out, including installation of a new battery, new spark plugs, fluid checks, and carburation adjustment.
DOCUMENTS:
The car comes with comprehensive documentation including:
• FIVA/ASI registration certificate
• Vintage black plates, original first registration booklet with pages and historical supplement leaf
• Original Lancia user and maintenance booklet and historical maintenance invoices/receipts
• Italian documents already deregistered for EU export (ready for re-registration in Italy or Europe)
The car is viewable and collectible in Spello (Perugia), Italy.

Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
