Description from the seller
Tintin – “The Blue Lotus” – The Red Truck, The Armored Car, & The Opium Truck – Set of 3 vehicles 1:43 – Atlas Editions
Description
Very beautiful set uniting three different 1:43-scale vehicles from the album The Blue Lotus, all from the Tintin on the Road collection by Atlas Editions.
The first model is The Red Truck, inspired by a 1933 Miesse truck. The model reproduces the scene in which Tintin, pursued by soldiers, is flung into the truck’s dump bed.
The second model is The Armored Car, an impressive Japanese military vehicle of the Sumida ARM type, recognizable by its green body, its turret and the Japanese flag.
The third model is The Opium Truck, a green-covered truck used for opium trafficking. The model notably depicts Tintin as an undercover passenger.
The set thus forms a particularly coherent collection with three vehicles and three different scenes from The Blue Lotus, including two trucks and the impressive Japanese armored car.
