Description from the seller
Tintin – “The Solar Affair” – The yellow Chrysler of the kidnapers & the Bell 47A helicopter + The Sanzot Van – Set of 3 1:43-scale miniatures – Atlas Editions
Description
Very beautiful set bringing together three iconic miniatures from The Solar Affair, part of the Tintin on the Road collection by Atlas Editions.
The first scene pairs the kidnappers’ yellow Chrysler with the red Bell 47A helicopter piloted by Tintin, accompanied by Captain Haddock. Both miniatures are displayed on a single large base and reproduce the famous chase in which Tintin and Haddock try to locate Professor Calculus.
The third miniature is the Sanzot Van, the famous vehicle from the Sanzot butcher shop. It is a Volkswagen Transporter, reproduced in its red-orange and cream livery.
The set is particularly interesting for display thanks to the large Chrysler/Helicopter diorama, complemented by one of the most recognizable vehicles from the Moulinsart universe.
