Wall-mounted Umbertine coat rack in solid wood from Italy, dating to 1850–1900, in antique Renaissance style, 158 cm wide, 31 cm high, 13 cm deep, with an upper shelf and six turned hooks.

Vintage Umbertine-era wall-mounted coat rack, with an upper hat shelf, in dark wood, in a classical/Renaissance style but dating from the late 19th century, featuring carved and relief-carved friezes and decorations, six pegs; with moulded panels and turned hooks, from Italy

In excellent condition (see photos)
Visual features: Dark wood finish, moulded geometric decorations and a set of six turned wooden hooks aligned horizontally.
* Style: It has a classic and traditional appearance, similar to furnishings from the late 19th to early 20th centuries
* Period: 19th century – from 1801 to 1900: the construction features of the object are consistent with the late 19th century or, at the latest, the early 20th century (Umbertine style / late Italian Historicism).
* The turned knobs: The typical baluster shape of the wooden knobs is a classic feature of late 19th-century Italian cabinet-making.
* The decorations and mouldings: The carved lower cornice and the geometric details in relief on the sides reflect the eclectic and Renaissance style that was very much in vogue at that time.
