Description from the seller
Tintin – “Tintin in the Congo” & “The Seven Crystal Balls” – Tintin’s Ford Model T, The Blue Interior Driving, & Captain Haddock’s Roadster – Lot of 3 1:43 scale vehicles – Atlas Editions
Description
Very beautiful set bringing together three Tintin vehicles at 1:43, from the En voiture Tintin collection by Atlas Editions and displayed on their original blue bases.
The first model is Tintin’s Ford Model T, taken from the album Tintin in the Congo. This yellow and khaki mini replica is particularly original, featuring Tintin and Snowy aboard, as well as its characteristic equipment evoking the African expeditions of the album.
The other two vehicles come from The Seven Crystal Balls. We find The Blue Interior Driving, an elegant sedan with lines typical of the 1930s, and Captain Haddock’s Roadster, a superb yellow convertible with Tintin, Snowy and Captain Haddock aboard.
The set thus combines three very different miniatures from two iconic albums, with several characters directly integrated into the scenes.
