Beautiful Art Deco ceramic vase (circa 1930), from the ODYV factory (Berlot and Mussier in Vierzon, France).

The factory was established in 1927 and the name « ODYV » is an acronym of the first names, Odette (Mussier's daughter) and Yvonne (Berlot's sister).

The vase has a slender baluster form with a stepped, notched neck. Very beautiful glossy black enamel with a deep background enhanced by a silver geometric decoration.

Marked on the base: « ODYV » and « 323 » as the model number.

Neck diameter : 6.5 cm
Body diameter : 17 cm

The piece is in good overall condition; to note, slight natural patina on the silver decoration (see photos); it will be shipped in appropriate packaging.

La manufacture a été créée en 1927 et le nom « ODYV » est un acronyme des prénoms, Odette (la fille de Mussier) et Yvonne (la sœur de Berlot).

Le vase est de forme balustre élancée avec col à ressauts étagés. Très bel émail noir brillant à fond profond réhaussé d'un décor géométrique argenté.
 
Marquée sous la base : « ODYV » et « 323 » pour le numéro du modèle.
