Description:
A pair of vintage siphons for seltzer/water with carbonation, characterized by elegant glass bottles wrapped in a dense protective metal mesh, typical of siphons used in bars and catering during the 20th century.
The lot includes two specimens of different sizes, both featuring a glass body, a metal mesh coating, and chrome-plated upper components.
The larger siphon has the classic faucet head with a side lever, while the second specimen features a differently shaped top closure.
The metal mesh, besides protecting, gives the two items a distinctive aesthetic and decorative value. They are interesting pieces for collectors of bar and catering memorabilia and also as decorative elements for vintage, industrial, or retro interiors.
Condition: good general vintage condition, with normal signs of aging and use. There are some marks and traces of oxidation/wear on the metal parts and bases, visible in the photographs.
