Bing & Grøndahl - Arne L. Hansen (1921-2009) - Wall plate - Experimenteel - Earthenware - Prototype for B&G

This particular piece is a unique test design painted by the well-known Danish artist Arne Lundsteen Hansen (1921–2009). Although the name of the Danish porcelain factory Bing & Grøndahl is handwritten on the back, it is not part of the brand's regular commercial mass production. Instead, it is a so-called 'test or trial mould piece' (Danish: forsøgsmaling) that was offered as a design to Bing & Grøndahl. The design was never put into production, which makes it unique. In good condition, of course. Front painted, back left in bisque.
