Display panel featuring 15 fossil specimens, arranged on a red background and accompanied by identification labels. The gold-colored frame, decorated with volutes and botanical motifs, enhances the whole, merging natural interest with decorative taste.
The labels attribute the specimens to various prehistoric fishes and reptiles, with teeth indicated as Odontaspis, Lamna and Corax, one element attributed to Myliobatis and specimens referred to as Mosasaurus.
The label in French reports provenance from the phosphate deposits of Khouribga, in Morocco, and an approximate dating of about 45–70 million years. Provenance, identifications and dating are provided according to the labels present and have not been verified by expert appraisal.
Overall dimensions: about 25 × 19 cm.
The frame shows signs of wear and small abrasions. The specimens show irregularities and missing parts; any restorations or reconstructions have not been verified. The photographs are an integral part of the description.
