AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Beautiful antique anemometer (wind meter) from the well-known French manufacturer Jules Richard of Paris.
This original windmeter was used by the Royal Army to measure wind speeds and is still in a fine condition. The mechanism does not function 100% and, in my view, needs adjustment so it can rotate smoothly again.
Also included is the original storage box with purple lining.
Features: Original Jules Richard anemometer. Made in France (Paris), with no. 9118.
Complete with original case, leveling pin, tube of oil and (French-language) user manual.
