Pocket vase (or bowl) in Murano glass with a pleasantly rounded shape; the design is minimalist yet well-proportioned, functional and elegant; the interior is blue opaline glass and the exterior in glass with a delicate amber color.

This piece was created by Murano Masters using the 'incamiciatura' technique, which consists of layering, as an initial process, one or more successive layers of differently colored glass onto the mass of glass emerging from the furnace; in our object, two colors were layered onto the white opaline glass mass by immersing the just-sketched white form into a crucible containing the blue-colored molten glass and then the amber color. Then the master glassmaker put everything back in the furnace for a few minutes and, blowing into the special rod, aided by tongs and working it by hand, gave the emptied bowl the desired shape.

The pocket vase is signed by the producer V.Nason&C. on the glass itself.
