Antique Decorative Rococo-Style Mirror – Richly Ornate Gilt Frame
Elegant antique-style wall mirror, featuring a richly decorated frame with refined ornamental details inspired by the Rococo style.
The shaped frame is extensively decorated with scrolls, floral motifs, leaves, curls and symmetrical ornaments, with an especially elaborate crest at the top and a decorative element at the bottom. The aged gilt finish, enriched by a natural patina, gives the piece a warm and authentic antique appearance.
The decorative characteristics are reminiscent of European production from the late 19th to the first half of the 20th century, in a Neo-Rococo taste. The three-dimensional workmanship and numerous finely modelled details make this mirror a particularly attractive decorative object.
The mirror retains visible signs of age, clearly shown in the photographs. The glass displays age-related patina and areas of alteration to the reflective surface.
