Splendido Vintage Bed Set "Ricami e Pizzi Fiorentini" - New in original box
In auction a magnificent and elegant vintage bed set original, rarely used, produced by the renowned Italian brand "Ricami e Pizzi Fiorentini". The set is kept in its original period packaging and is complete with its original Warranty Certificate, which attests to the use of top-quality threads and colorants with high colorfastness.
The pieces feature refined and rich craftsmanship with floral embroidery shaded in pink, peach and yellow tones, with green details.
The lot consists of:
• 1 Tablecloth for 12 people (with 12 coordinating napkins) probably 270x150 cm
• 1 matrimonial sheet probably 250x290 cm
• 2 coordinated pillowcases
• 6 coordinated towels (hand towels)
Important note on dimensions and finishes:
The bed set is new from warehouse stock and is sold in its original factory-fold, which has not been altered to preserve its integrity. The measurements given in the technical sheet are to be considered purely indicative for a 12-person tablecloth and a standard double bed of the era. It was not possible to measure to the centimeter to avoid undoing the original complex folds.
It should also be noted that the sheet, pillowcases and towels are not hemmed (they retain the original raw cut from the era to allow for subsequent customization or openwork finishing), while the napkins are already finished with a hem.
