Description
Set consisting of two coffee sets from the Cortabarría firm, kept in their original cases.
The lot comprises a total of 16 pieces:
4 cups in silvered alpaca.
4 saucers in silvered alpaca.
4 inner glasses in opaline crystal.
4 spoons in silvered alpaca.
2 original Cortabarría cases.
The pieces feature an elegant ornamental design, with raised relief decoration around the edges and on the handles of the spoons and the cups’ handles. The cases are lined on the inside and have the Cortabarría identification plate.
Material: Silvered alpaca and opaline crystal.
Manufacturer: Cortabarría.
Origin: Spain.
Period: Second half of the 20th century, approximately 1960–1980.
Number of pieces: 16.
Approximate weight: 1.5 kg.
Condition: Good.
The pieces show normal signs of use and wear, including small marks and superficial scratches visible in the photographs. The cases also show signs of use and aging.
