La Murrina - Lamp - Aquilone R60 - Murano glass

Vintage design pendant lamp produced by La Murrina, model Aquilone R60. A prestigious lighting piece made with a black metal mounting and height adjustable via cables.
The lampshade, mouth-blown Murano glass with a spatulated finish, presents in a milky white tone, square in shape, with a distinctive central emerald glass insert in an “wave” pattern. The flowing veining of the white shade comes from the glass, still hot, being mixed and flowed without being fully homogenized, creating a “frozen liquid” effect of strong material presence and almost painterly qualities.
In the internal upper part, the microperforated aluminum bulb cover box is missing, but this does not compromise the lamp’s functionality.
