Beautifully and elegantly stylized terracotta figurine of a seated nude woman ("Sitzender Frauenakt"), produced by the renowned Austrian manufacturer Gmundner Keramik (atelier Fink) around 1960.
The statue is made of characteristic red-brown, unglazed ceramic and reflects the refined mid-century modern aesthetics with influences from Art Deco. The underside is fully marked with the original paper factory sticker reading "Gmundner Keramik Austria Fink" and features the deeply engraved model number 2288.
