kaiser Leuchten - Floor lamp - Brass, Metal - Arched counterweight 174c

This is a vintage floor lamp crafted from metal with a dark, patinated finish. Its design is defined by functionality and an industrial aesthetic, featuring an adjustable arm that makes it a versatile lighting solution.

Constructed entirely of metal with a bronze or brass-colored finish, the lamp stands on a heavy, round base that ensures stability. Its structure consists of a long, curved arm that pivots at a central point and is balanced by a spherical counterweight. The semi-circular shade can be tilted, allowing the lamp to function as either a reading lamp (casting light downwards) or an uplighter (casting light upwards). It is operated via a pull switch on the shade and a toggle switch on the base.

The lamp is in good condition, consistent with its age and use. The metal has developed a weathered patina that enhances the piece's authentic character. It is fully functional, and the adjustment mechanisms operate smoothly.

Thanks to its adjustable design, this floor lamp is ideal for use next to an armchair or sofa. Its aesthetic—at once industrial and classic—complements a variety of interior styles, ranging from Mid-Century Modern to more eclectic décor.
