Original Gispen 415/1401 armchair designed by Wim Rietveld in collaboration with A.R. Cordemeyer for Gispen in 1954. This comfortable armchair is very beautiful due to its simplicity.

The armchair has a black metal frame with black Bakelite armrests. It is upholstered in a handsome fabric from Kvadrat from the Memory collection by Patricia Urquiola. This collection draws attention with an overall combination of refined colors, a strong sense of depth and volume. The armchair is in very good condition and the upholstery is new.

In the Rijksmuseum's hospitality area these Dutch design classics are in use.

Originele Gispen 415/ 1401 fauteuil ontworpen door Wim Rietveld in samenwerking met A.R. Cordemeyer voor Gispen in 1954. Deze comfortabele fauteuil is erg mooi door zijn eenvoud. 

De fauteuil heeft een zwart metalen frame met zwart bakelieten armleuningen. Het is bekleed in een fraaie stof van Kvadrat uit de Memory collectie van Patricia Urquiola. Deze collectie trekt de aandacht met een algehele combinatie van verfijnde kleuren, een sterk gevoel van diepte en volume. De fauteuil is in een zeer goede staat en de stoffering is nieuw. 

In het horeca gedeelte van het Rijksmuseum zijn deze Nederlandse design klassiekers in gebruik.
