Dragan Paunović – Original Illustration – Warrior Cavalier – Ink and Wash – 32 × 24 cm

Magnificent original illustration by Dragan Paunović, executed in India ink and wash on paper.
This work depicts a warrior horseman galloping at full speed, saber in hand, in a particularly dynamic action scene. The horse, the movement of the cloak, and the details of the armor are rendered with great precision. The foreground, strewn with debris and elements evoking a battlefield, reinforces the epic and dramatic atmosphere of the composition.
The black-and-white work, with numerous wash effects, creates strong contrasts and particularly highlights the movement and depth of the scene.
