AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

MINOLTA Repo, tested and working.

Hello from Japan!
We provide high-quality cameras and lenses to the world.

The Minolta Repo (1962) was Minolta's first half-frame camera, its name taken from 'report'. By recording two vertical-format pictures in each standard 35mm frame it doubles the number of exposures on a roll, making it an economical everyday camera. It is fitted with a Rokkor 30mm f/2.8 lens and a selenium-cell meter that needs no battery, all in a compact metal body typical of Minolta's early-1960s design.

Condition: Used — Excellent
Pre-owned, moderate signs of use, optics clear

Serial Number
Please check the photo.

Appearance
Scuffs and scratches from normal use. Please check the photos for details.

Optical Condition
Lens: Clear, no issues
Viewfinder: Cleaned inside

Functional
The meter and automatic exposure work; exposure runs about 1.5 stops over.
Oil was cleaned from the aperture blades.
Light seals replaced and viewfinder interior cleaned.

Measured Performance
We check these cameras on a shutter tester rather than by ear, and we publish what we measured:
- Light meter accuracy — EV12: 1.5 OVER / EV15: 1.7 OVER
Negative film has enough latitude to absorb deviations of this size, but the figures are here so you can judge for yourself.

Servicing
This camera was serviced by us before listing:
- Light seals (foam) replaced
- Viewfinder cleaned internally
- Aperture blades cleaned of oil residue

Bundled Items
Only what you can see in the pictures will be included in the package.
