Very beautiful large floor lamp from the French house Le Dauphin, model "Vérone", Lotus lamp, reference 1216, original label preserved under the base. Vintage from the 1970s. Important rectangular burgundy base with a glossy lacquered finish, resting on a square gold metal base and topped by a spectacular stylized artichoke motif in gilded brass. Beautiful construction, very decorative, blending the geometric lines of the base with sculpted vegetal forms, typical of Le Dauphin creations from that period. E27 socket, European plug, lamp functional.
Height: 46.5 cm with the socket, 40 cm high without the socket. Very good overall condition. Some rare small stains and signs of wear on the gold metal. The burgundy finishing plates show some slight craquelure at certain edges, remaining discreet. The base has a slight wobble on its support and can rotate slightly, locking ring for the lampshade cracked, with no impact on stability or use. Weight about 2 to 3 kg.
